Volunteering with Idaho Organizing Project on an event called Immigration 101 – where we helped community members learn the ins and outs of how difficult the immigration process can be with a panel of lawyers and New American experts.  July 2017.

Over 200 community members gathered to learn about Standing Rock and the Dakota Access Pipeline. This was an event organized and hosted by Allied Action Group founded by Naomi and Anthony Lee, but led intentionally by the voices of Native American Tribe members. December 2016.
DACA3
A group of concerned community members met at the 4th of July parade, 2017,  to vocalize and protest governor Otters actions around the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Act (DACA).
Jerome
Idaho Organizing Project, ACLU, and concerned community members pack the Jerome County Commissioners meeting in response to the commissioners potential contract with U.S.  Immigration & Customs Enforcement, July 2016. Voices were heard in numbers that day when 650 community members showed up. Naomi served as a legal observer and community organizer at this event.
